Vef Jazz Club. Latvian jazz

О событии

The concert program is a musical journey through the history and present of Latvian jazz, featuring original works by Artūrs Sebra alongside compositions by Latvian jazz classics—Gunārs Rozenbergs, Uldis Stabulnieks, and Vitālijs Dolgovs. These composers have shaped generations that together have laid the foundation for the identity of Latvian jazz—warm, melodic, and emotionally rich. The program blends the freedom of improvisation with the lyricism of Latvian melodies, creating a unique atmosphere where tradition meets a contemporary perspective.
